He is looking for the top 10% and hiring only candidates that currently live in Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, and Mesa AZ. Software Engineer, DevOps Software Engineer is what you get when you treat operations as if it’s a software problem. This is an unusual job, unlike other in our industry. Not only should be good at software engineering, you must have the aptitude and attitude to solve provisioning of infrastructure, building of code, deployment of code, harden production code with a software engineering mindset. Strong candidates will have experience in both systems and software engineering.
