*Job Title : Network Engineer Location : Nashville, TNDuration : 6+Months ContractRate : 45/hr on C2C* *Responsibilities of the Network Engineer IV:* Complete detailed assessments of cabling infrastructure for hospitals, clinics, acquisitions, corporate projects and construction projects. Develop RFPs based on the assessments and manage the RFP/vendor selection process in addition to providing vendor management and solution QA serves. Provide data center refresh and expansion assessments, recommendations, and assist with the RFP process and vendor selection/management during the project. Will provide infrastructure assessments, vendor management, solution QA, as well as manage the RFP process for voice and data cabling services at multiple facilities. Complete detailed assessments of power, cooling, and space of data centers infrastructure for hospitals, clinics, acquisitions, corporate projects and construction projects. *Required Experience/Education for the Network Engineer IV:* Must have 10+years of experience Working knowledge of alternatives for voice and data cabling solutions and be capable of selecting the best options as defined by guidelines and standards. Outstanding customer service skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to work and effectively communicate with executives, enterprise-wide and group management, peers, and outside vendors. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities. Strong ability to work on and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with little supervision. Bachelor's Degree preferred or commensurate experience. 5+ years’ experience with communications infrastructure projects. 3+ years’ experience in IT, healthcare experience is preferred. Proven ability to generate RFPs and RFIs for large complex projects. Experience managing cabling vendors for large complex projects. Experience with voice and data cabling assessments, standards and implementation methods. Proficient with MS, Visio, or similar applications.
