The position is at times expected to provide technical leadership to operations groups as required for critical incidents and problems. Additionally, the position will create migration concepts and plans describing all necessary steps to deliver successful migration of the new solution and requires active participation on development and testing of new product features and configurations. Performs all other duties as assigned by manager. Implements and performs according to established standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design new solution (standard and non-standard) to fulfill customer requirements – 20% • Create migration concepts and plans describing all necessary steps to deliver successful migration of new solution, execute and support migrations – 20% • Create documentation to define necessary configurations, HW and its physical installation -10% • Create network plan which describe physical and logical connection of the IT infrastructure -10% • Test, validate and document new releases in order to identify flaws and provide migration plan from old to new version of the release -10% • Analyze delivered documentation in order to identify actual state of the infrastructure -10% • Provide technical consultation in order to support creation or extension of customer standard or non-standard solution - 10% • Provide a weekly written status of current projects and critical issues – 10% Start Time: 8:00 AM Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: 2475 Northwinds Pkwy Alpharetta GA 30009 Education: Additional Job Details: OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create test-cases for new solution to enable quality testing of this solution • Execute testing and analyzes to identify flaws of the configuration • Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation • Effective business communication with vendors, project management, product management and end customer • Formulate, design, and implement short- and long-term plans within a global environment to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements. • Adhere to Change Control, Change Log, and Downtime Log procedures for all critical services. • Performs other duties as directed. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have 8+ years experience networking experience in Enterprise network design, implementation, maintenance and administration experience. • Preferable experience in an ICT Engineer, Architect, or enterprise wide Solution Designer. • Complex ITIL knowledge corresponding to ITIL certification (At least one of SS,SD,ST,SO or CSI). • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work with people and cross-functional teams. • Must be adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires managing multiple projects and balancing multiple priorities.
