*Please send resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Job Title: Lead Java Portal Developer Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 9 months Direct Client Position Client: State of OH *Note: Need 2 references in order to submit* *First round skype, second round in person* We are currently in the process of choosing a Portal Platform, it will be either IBM Digital Experience (formerly WebSphere Portal) or Oracle WebCenter Portal. State will be selecting one of these Suites to be the Enterprise Standard Platform and Solution This Resource will act as the Lead Developer Subject Matter Expert, and a Solution Architect for the State Enterprise Portal Platform. Additionally, this resource will act Portal SME for business, developers, and System Integrators. State primarily uses System Integrators for project delivery. Develop and assist in the creation of Portal content, integrations, components, themes and skins Maintain components and standards to support responsive design and solutions Support of the Portal infrastructure and help manage support provided by managed service provider. Developing portlet applications, applications, and front ends that integrate with API, SOA, and BPM services Work with System Integrators, business analyst and stakeholders Collaborate with architects, business analysts, business users and external systems integrators inconceptualization and development of new technical objects to support State system integrations such asIDM, ERP, Public and Public Cloud, Enterprise and Agency Applications. Evaluate requirements from functional specifications and create/advise on solution design. Analyze, evaluate and support impact of Oracle release upgrades in existing integrations. Adhere to and support the use of standards for code development and code promotion. Analyzing user requirements, prototyping processes, and designing process solutions. Design and development of web services. Create process flows, high level functional and detailed technical design specifications frombusiness requirements. Help set, maintain, and document standards and design best practice including designing, implementing, and maintaining ‘Hello World’ solutions. Review designs and solutions from projects Demonstrable understanding of architectural principles and best practices Excellent and deep Experience in developing technical documentation Strong communication/ leadership skills. Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language. Must meet productivity standards, complete work in timely manner and strive to increase productivity 5 plus years of experience being progressively responsible for building Portal content such as Java applications and system integrations 1 plus years of hands on experience with Oracle ADF or Jbuilder type tools 5 plus years of J2EE and JavaScript 1 plus years of IBM Web Experience Factory or Oracle ADF 1 plus years developing JSR 168/286 Portlets/WSRP, J2EE Web Services/Serverlets. JavaScript development such as Node.js or front end libraries for presentation layer.
