*Position: Software QA Engineer* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 12 months* *Local candidates Preferred!!!* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* · Lead testing projects, including the planning, testing and coordinating of testing activities · Coordinate test activities of multiple teams, including but not limited to business, development and project teams · Design and implement test strategy for projects and develop estimates for new test projects · Develop test cases for bug fixes and for enhancement/new functionality · Problem isolation on reported system bugs · Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior · Create and prioritize test cases for Bug fixes, small, medium and large/complex projects, including identification of risks and dependencies · Coordinate test case review sessions with business users and development teams · Report software defects; raises issues/concerns regarding issue prioritization · Mentor testing team *QUALIFICATIONS:* · Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training · At least 5 years experience in software testing/Quality Assurance (QA) · Good SQL skills and good understanding of relational databases · Strong software analysis skills · Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities · Understanding of Quality Management and "best practices" with regard to testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurement · Thorough knowledge of software development life cycles · Experience testing web-based applications · Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings · Strong customer service focus · Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment · Agile experience is a plus · Experience with automated testing tools a plus *Gurjant (Gary) Singh | **Technical Recruiter* t 925.297.5994 | f 1.925.406.0505 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
