monitoring/evaluating health of NetBackup environment, recommending and
implementing backup changes, guidance on NetBackup policies and to
introduce staff to Avamar through the use of onsite Avamar system recently
acquired for testing purposes. *
*Required skills:*
- *NetBackup Admin level experience needed: *
- *Operational and Netbackup backup policies*
- *Operational Expert*
- *Day to day operations*
- *Health monitoring*
- *NetBackup Policy Expert*
- *Diagnose ongoing policy issues*
- *Train staff in policy management*
- *Current staff has no formal training on NBU*
- *Experience with Avamar operations*
- *Experience with backup migrations*
- *Current staff has no training on Avamar*
- *Eventually, the customer is looking to implement Avamar down the
road*
* Our client, located in Springfield, IL, is currently in need of an Isilon
Engineer for a 6 month contract. The consultant will be responsible for
implementing new Isilon clusters and migrating data over to the new
cluster.*
*Required Skills:*
- *Experience with the implementation and configuration of Isilon*
- *Cluster configuration*
- *Replication management*
- *Experience with NAS migrations and Isilon migration tools*
