This position will work closely with the Web Designers and Technical Managers to innovate and create Web applications and widgets. Job-Specific Requirements: *Expertise in working with PHP and MySQL *Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX *Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational database design *Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing (SEM) *Exposure to other server-side scripting languages a plus *Exposure to object-oriented language, such as Java, Microsoft .NET *Familiarity with the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) *Understanding and demonstrated adaptation of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility concerns *Professional Web application development experience in building database driven applications and Web sites Work Experience: 5+ years professional Web development experience General Requirements: *Strong communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction and knowledge transfer to teammates and other departments within the company *A high task load is expected.
