Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of NC Rate: $65-70/hr on C2C *Note: Candidates must have State gov experience* The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking an Expert Level Technical Architect for an approximately 12-month engagement on the Department's application system enhancement and maintenance work assigned to IT Web Services. This position will be an integral part of the R&R (Website Redesign & Restructuring) ITP.00208 www.ncdot.gov upgrade project designing and implementing back end services. This position will be responsible for working directly with the R&R Design team and other Web Services team members. This position will be coding APIs and retrofiting older applications as well as new services needed by R&R. This dedicated short term resource is required for supplementing existing DOT IT Web Services resources to adequately accomplish the increased workload required to successfully implement the R&R Upgrade initiative and NCDOT application strategies.
