*Please send resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Job Title: Project Manager w/MMIS Location: Olympia, WA Duration: 24 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of WA Note: Need 3 references in order to submit The Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA) and the Health Care Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 requires states to participate with the Federal Health Benefits Exchange or create a state-based Health Benefits Exchange. Washington State built a state-based Health Benefit Exchange (HBE). In support of this system, Economic Services Administration (ESA) built the Eligibility Service. This effort required modification and recoding of the ESA’s Automated Client Eligibility System (ACES). This was the first phase of a multi-year project. The purpose of this contract is to hire a Project Management Team to perform project management activities for the remainder of the project. Mandatory Experience and Qualifications for Additional Project Manager Team Members *Five (5) or more years’ experience as a Project Manager in contracting, contracting compliance, management experience with large (over $10M in scope) cross-functional projects or multi-stakeholder systems; * *Three (3) years’ experience in Information Technology, working with or for CMS or Health and Human Services experience;* *Knowledge of federal IT project management requirements; or* Three (3) or more years in federal government program / project oversight, performance monitoring and interpretation of federal guidelines, rules and regulations; or Three (3) or more years’ experience managing federal grants or funding, audit and reporting requirements compliance with demonstrated responsibility for program or project budgeting and contracting; Understand, and work within a project governance structure that involves multiple agencies. Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications for Key Staff Members Project Management credentials / certification (e.g. Project Management Certificate from an accredited college or university, or a certificate from an organization such as PMI, APMC, CompTIA Project+, etc.); Experience working with State of Washington enterprise architecture at the agency and/or statewide levels; Knowledge and experience with state welfare systems; Knowledge of the political, technical, managerial and fiscal environments that exist in social and health services and with federal Health and Human Services organizational structures; Knowledge of the Washington State IT oversight structures and investment standards and requirements; Experience managing and maintaining project libraries, such as SharePoint; Ability to develop and put in place processes and practices to effectively manage, staff, and communicate regarding major, complex IT projects; Ability to recognize when a skill or expertise is needed and not available in the current team; Recent experience preparing and submitting Advance Planning Documents (APD) with CMS; Recent (within the past three years) experience with state procurement and contracting rules; Demonstrated expert skill in preparing and maintaining detailed funding and budgetary worksheets, including the ability to manage to multiple fiscal year breakdowns (e.g. state, federal, calendar); Technical background including a working knowledge of M&O environment; Experience with large scale IT shop with contractual relationships; and Ability to communicate technical requirements with team members and to translate them into business options for management presentations. *Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Thanks, Sam CNC Consulting, Inc. 201-546-3096 [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
