*Location: Greenwich, CT*

*Duration: 3 months with possible extension*



*Job Description:                *

This is a back-fill for the Payroll and Human Resources Systems Manager who
is going out on maternity leave early/mid November.

They would like the person to have some overlap for knowledge transfer.



Person should be an expert with ADP Payroll (EV5) and also have HRIS
systems knowledge and ideally be familiar with workday,

Below is the JD for this role, to give an overview of what the role is, but the
payroll/hris are key.



*Job Description:*

*Describe specific objectives for this position.*

Manages and oversees an organization's HRIS (Human Resources Information
Systems). Develops, implements, and modifies system requirements. Maintains
internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the
requirements of company management and staff. Identifies training needs of
end users and develops and provides the necessary training to meet those
needs.



Ensures all payroll operations are carried out in an efficient and
expedient manner. This includes ensuring that all employees are paid on
time, all benefit withholdings are accurate and taxes are withheld in
accordance with the laws of the applicable agencies.



*Overall Responsibilities:*

*Describe the overall job responsibilities (including any decision making
authority) for this position.*

*HRIS and System Security Administrator*

·         Create and maintain a security model based on functional
responsibilities and configure the system to enforce the security desired
for access to sensitive data.

·         Customizing the HR, Payroll and Benefit systems to meet the
processing requirements of the HR department.

·         Integrating the HR system with third party software or other
vendors via EDI, XML and Web Services or Custom Interfaces.

·         Coordinate and resolve open issues with vendor’s Help Desk /
Product Support when needed.

·         Identify statutory (Federal, State and Local governments or other
governing bodies) requirements and ensure the system can effectively
provide the data to fulfill the requirements effectively in a timely manner.

·         Identify issues that require the expertise of external consulting
resources, and subsequently contract, manage and monitor their deliverables.

·         Ensures HR Technology end users (e.g. Payroll and HR Admins,
Managers, etc.) are appropriately trained on the technology and are
provided updates on system enhancements to increase their effectiveness and
ability to use the system(s).

·         Identifies processes that can be streamlined, inefficiencies,
cost reductions or system improvements.

·         Develops and executes mitigation plans.

·         Manages system implementations and upgrades including launch and
change management processes.



*Project Management*

·         Oversees and leads effective project management for HR system
upgrades, integrations, and implementations, including but not limited to:

o   Analyzes system requirements for integration into existing technology
systems

o   Identifies and communicates system risks to key senior stakeholders

o   Develops business requirements and integration plans



*Payroll*

·         Verify and approve payroll for all 20 pay groups processed out of
Corporate office.

·         Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and
procedures.

·         Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by
studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements;
advising management on needed actions.

·         Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
duties to employees; following up on work results.

·         Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
needed.



*Compensation and Benefits*

·         Assist with annual salary review and bonus payout allocation:
prepare annual template and provide reports to HR Managers with annual
employee information.

·         Oversee the preparation of annual Non Discrimination Testing.

·         Oversee the preparation of the 5500 filings and Compliance
Testing for the company’s Profit Sharing Plan.

·         Management of Restricted Stock Unit Plan: awards, vestings.

·         Management of Deferred Compensation Plan.



*Compliance*

·         Responsible for gathering and providing census data for Ethics
Training and Certification vendor. Maintain accurate database.

·         Work with other division administrators to launch new
initiatives, in collaboration with Chief Compliance Officer and Project
Team.

·         Responsible for Service Organization Control (SOC1) reports
review, analysis and approval for all core ADP and UBS systems.

·         Lead person to manage the process of all Internal and External
Audits.



*Required Experience:  Include necessary skills/experience and core
competencies required.*

*Skills/Qualifications:*

·         Comprehensive understanding of all Human Resource practices and
procedures.

·         Managing Processes, People Management, Data Entry Management,
Reporting Skills, Compensation and Wage Structure, Benefits Administration,
Worker Compensation, Employment Law, Developing Standards, Financial
Skills, Accounting

·         Experience managing a multi-state payroll department, including
staff

·         Extensive knowledge of ADP Enterprise EV5, eTime and ADP Report
(preferred)

·         Proficient at MS Office

·         Working experience of payroll tax at the federal, state and local
levels

·         Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance

·         Must be a team player

·         Must be highly organized

·         Prior system conversion experience

·         A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or
exceeding performance expectations

·         Strong communication skills

·         Detail Oriented

·         Strong Inter-personnel skills

·         Supervisory experience a must
