Client will prefer local candidate, if not, someone closer to PA such as NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, VA. Last they will consider is candidate located somewhere else. Location: Norristown, PA Duration: 1+ year Responsible for the design, development and deployment of systems components, including enterprise infrastructure, information systems, ERP applications, and Internet technologies. Projects are typically focused on both software and hardware components. Evaluates existing systems to understand capabilities and recommend solutions. Work with non-technical business owners to understand needs and develop a technical solution. Participates in the layout design and installation of new systems or modification of existing systems. Develop and manage systems integration projects. Identifies and resolves existing system deficiencies. Must have strong communication skills to interact with business counterparts. 6+ years of prior systems engineering experience in large enterprise environments is required. We are currently seeking a highly qualified resource to implement a new Peoplesoft module called "Asset Maintenance Management". This position is a technical lead role and requires a person that can effectively lead a project to implement the new application module. The candidate must have proficient experience using all areas of the module including how to configure the module. The candidate should have a minimum of 5-10 years experience working with Peoplesoft application programming, i.e. SQR, AppEngine, Application Package, Peoplecode, Integration Broker, PSQuery, Workflow, Security, etc. The candidate should also have a strong knowledge of Oracle SQL writing and tuning. The candidate must also have experience developing and managing Oracle database objects such as Triggers, Functions, Procedures and Packages. Programming knowledge in Unix Scripting and Windows BAT scripting is a plus. Knowledge of Visual Basics is also helpful but not required.
