Technical Skills Needed* *Required Skills: *ZOS DB2 Database administration, MVS JCL, DB2 Utilities, TSO, SQL,DB2 Connect *Preferred Skills: *CA DB2 tools including RC Migrator, Insight and Detector, REXX, Quality Center, Endeavor, DB2 Replication tools *Years of experience*: minimum 5 years DBA experience *E. Soft Skills Needed* Team player, ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources *F. Project Description/Daily Assignment* *Detailed Description of Daily Assignment: * • Load test data • Grant access and create synonyms • Modify and create DB2 maintenance jobs • Tune SQL for performance • Assist development and test teams with DB2 errors and problems • Answer support calls • Apply table changes as requested *Detailed Description of needed deliverable: *Mainframe DBAs to maintain MSR test environment incl.2 rails of QA. Build out, refresh & support of QP environ. DBA Support for table changes, access, TR environ, mock cutover environment.
