*Responsibilities:*
*• Work with the IT and business partners to understand and document the
data issues• Query and interpret data, analyze results using statistical
techniques and provide findings• Develop and implement data collection
systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data
quality• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain
databases/data systems• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns
in complex data sets• Work with the various teams including development
team to help determine root causes• Work closely with management to
prioritize business and information needs• Locate and define new process
improvement opportunities• Document test scenarios for quality assurance
and user acceptance testing• Validate results of the testing*
*Requirements*:
*• Possess strong analytical and communication skills• Proven working
experience as a data analyst• Technical expertise regarding data models,
database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques•
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g.
Microstrategy), databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle), programming (e.g. XML
or ETL frameworks)• Knowledge of statistics and experience using
statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SAS etc.)•
Healthcare/Exchange experience a plus*
