*Location: *Quebec City, QC *(Canada)*

*Duration: *6+ Months

*Description:*

Create, maintain, document, and support high-quality infrastructure
environment. This could include servers, storage, telecom, networking, and
Data Center systems. Focuses on speed and accuracy of delivery, accurate
and proactive monitoring of system environment, and advanced and “always
ready” disaster recovery posture.

Impact on Business (i.e. business contribution, nature and scope of
responsibility, risk and financial management)

•         Provides high quality infrastructure environment in accordance
with HQ design specifications

•         Supports the infrastructure environment as an embedded member of
the appropriate HQ product teams.

•         Ensures infrastructure resource availability during regular
business hours through regular, proactive, accurate system monitoring

•         Creates and maintains up-to-date topology diagrams and system
inventory documents to streamline support and ensure management has an
accurate view of the existing environment

•         Creates and maintains accurate and up-to-date DRP for all major
facilities

·         Internal & External Customers / Suppliers as well as Third Parties

·         (i.e. nature and level of client relationship management and
service delivery)

•         Interacts with other employees through tickets, demands, and
standard services on daily basis according to Corporate IT service
guidelines

•         Resolves issues or assigns them to the appropriate area for
resolution.  Escalates to HQ product owners and CCA Management when
necessary

•         Performs infrastructure installation, configuration, and
documentation to support fellow team members with their project needs

•         Provides technical consultation to project managers when requested

•         Creates and executes Disaster Recovery Plan when called upon in
time of emergency

•         Interacts with vendors when necessary to address support issues
with infrastructure devices

·         Innovation and Change (i.e. range and diversity of activities,
problems, processes, market dynamics and management challenges that need to
be recognized and resolved)

•         Maintains client standards and procedures for system
design/operation

•         Recommends and implements automation opportunities for IT
infrastructure environment

•         Brings improvement suggestions to HQ product owners and CCA
Management for review and discussion

•         Works together with HQ product owners and fellow team members to
perform changes to design standards when appropriate and agreed upon

•         Promotes DLC/ALM processes, including moving tickets to demands
and/or standard services when appropriate.

·         People Leadership (i.e. management, motivation and development of
staff as well as teamwork)

•         Collaborates together with other members of CCA North and South
teams, as well as HQ infrastructure specialists and product owners

•         Ensures knowledge transfer through documentation of issue
resolution in tickets, FAQ/how-to documents on CCA SharePoint site, and
infrastructure topology diagrams.

•         Collaborates with client management team when on-site “helping
hands” support is required.

•         Provides cross-training to team members on personal areas of
expertise

•         Issue Reaction Time: 85% (<2 hours)

•         Issue Solution/Workaround Time: 85% (<24 hrs)

•         System Uptime statistics / Critical Incidents

•         Poor Performance Complaints

•         Accuracy of system topology diagrams

•         Accuracy of system inventory documents

•         Accuracy of Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)

•         Up-to-date Data Center maintenance records

•         Project tasks: on-time and on-budget according to commitments
made to business and other IT team members



*Educational Background*

•         US/CA: Bachelor’s Degree

•         MX: Licenciatura



*Professional Knowledge and Experiences*

•         7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in infrastructure
required.

•         Experience with Cisco preferred

•         Windows DHCP, DNS, and WINS required

•         Intermediate to Advanced Windows server knowledge required

•         Prior experience working with external suppliers



*Other Skills (e.g. IT, language, etc.)*

•         Language: English and Spanish/French/German

•         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

•         Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.

•         Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English
and local language (Spanish for Mexico, French for Canada)

•         Ability to create and maintain system topology and inventory
documents
