Hope you are doing great, Please review the following Job Description and share updated resume below if you find comfortable for this position... *Role: Senior Cognos Report Administrator* *Location : West Chester, PA * *Duration: Long Term * Total Experience Required 8-10 yrs Mandatory Technical Skills Ø Hands on experience in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.4 and lower versions(10.X and 8.X) Ø Deeper understanding of your business and greater intuition in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations of information Ø Cognos BI Metadata Model Development and End user Documentation Ø Work closely with business SMEs to define BI report requirements . Ø The administrator is responsible to administer content and servers. Ensure availability, server maintenance, recycling and SLA assurance. Ø Knowledge of Web application server architectures and security systems administration Ø Experience using the Windows and Linux operating system and a web browser Ø Define, architect, build and deploy, administer, monitor reporting solutions and dashboards with Cognos Analytics Ø Work with team to implement Data Quality initiatives to include data profiling Ø Process workflow overall idea from Whiteboard to -implementation to support Ø Provide comprehensive enterprise BI solutions for management & operational solutions for staff Ø Participate in the design/build of operational systems to ensure data resources are designed with BI/Reporting "in mind" from inception Ø Experience working and collaborating in a team environment with minimal supervision, and follow predetermined guidelines Ø Strong BI/Reporting industry knowledge and background, experience with various BI/Reporting tools Ø Migration of code and Upgrade and Patching to Cognos Analytics Ø Architectural idea and Advancements in report authoring and consumption Ø On-demand BI: Starting or ‘bridging’ Cognos Analytics on cloud Ø Creating a data-driven culture with smarter self-service BI Ø Mapping and geospatial visualization in IBM Cognos Analytics Ø Utilize Cognos 10.x and 11.X Report, Query, Analysis, Event and Workspace Advanced Studios to design and deliver complex reports and widgets; Ø Utilize Cognos Framework Mgr to define data sources and metadata, design and built OLAP cubes; Ø Design and implement management dashboards using Cognos 10.2; If required, transition successfully to use of Cognos 11. Ø Cognos 10.x and 11.x, utilizing Query, Reports, Analysis, Event, and Workspace Advanced Studios. Ø Significant experience in OLAP solutions using Cognos Impromptu, Transformer, Power Play, Cub Design (if any) Ø Preferred Certified IBM Cognos 10.x/11.x BI Metadata Model Developer; Ø Ability to write and debug PL/SQL and SQL for quick turn-around requirements; Ø Strong communication skills and success training end users of BI products; Ø Experience using backend query analyze capability to improve performance based on. Ø Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Ø Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences utilizing established mathematical/statistical methodologies. Ø Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Ø Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. Ø Produce datasets and reports for analysis using visualization and KPI reporting tools.
