*JOB FUNCTION:* The *Oracle SOA Administrator* will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting the applications on oracle fusion middleware technologies and also responsible for administering the Oracle Weblogic Application server. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Support and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware *SOA infrastructure* including Oracle Weblogic Server, Enterprise Service Bus, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Web Services Manager, Oracle Service Registry, Business Rules, Business Activity Monitoring and IDM 2. SOA platform troubleshooting. Resolves operational problems 3. Big part of the job will be to support the integrations and services built on the Fusion Middleware layer 4. Oracle Weblogic Server Administration 5. Proactively monitor and support the health, performance, and integrity of the *SOA system*. Support the change management process. 6. Develops programs in *SOA Suite* by analyzing requirements, preparing specifications, designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting. 7. Perform Promotion to Production functions across development, QA and production environments 8. Maintain Identity Management structures; Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Weblogic Server Single Sign-On Server and the Oracle Weblogic Server Certificate Authority 9. Actively participate in the development of a *SOA Center of Excellence* by establishing and documenting development and administration patterns and best practices, maintaining SOA standard 10. Identifies software requirements by interviewing users, interviewing and selecting vendors (if applicable), analyzing applications, evaluating existing and proposed systems, recommending solutions and planning system resources. 11. Enterprise Manager Administration 12. Patch and Tar management 13. Backup and restore/recover Oracle Weblogic Server instances 14. Need to be very hands on 15. Performance and capacity analysis 16. Configure and manage Weblogic server Cluster 17. Demonstrated ability to maintain quality service by establishing, monitoring and enforcing organizational standards. 18. Ability to drive and execute assigned projects as needed. 19. Develops programs in SOA Suite by analyzing requirements, preparing specifications, designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting. 20. Improves software performance by investigating problems, developing specifications, identifying trends in technology, and recommending, integrating and documenting solutions. 21. Maintains platform security by developing, implementing, enforcing and maintaining disaster prevention and recovery procedures.
