*Java Full Stack Engineer* *Contract: 6 months +*
*Location: Stamford, CT- Must be on site* *MUST HAVE AWESOME COM SKILLS* *Interview: Will do Skype for non local candidates(Must be rockstar)* *They don’t really need a developer but someone who can migrate apps from web logic to tomcat.* This client is looking for a Java Engineer not a developer. However, they must be able to know how to refactor code. The consultant’s main responsibility will be to migrate applications from Weblogic Server to Tomcat Server. 6-month contract position. This individual would help with our datacenter move\modernization. *We are looking for an experienced Java Resource\Full Stack Engineer.* - This is NOT a development role, may need to refactor code as part of the migration, but not in need of a Java programmer. Need a full stack engineer that can refactor code if needed. Will be migrating apps from Weblogic to Tomcat. Update JDK, upgrade app servers. Moving out of physical data center in Stamford to colo in NJ. - Need experience with multiple application servers (Weblogic and Tomcat would be ideal, but "Weblogic and ...." or "Tomcat and ....." are acceptable - Must have experience with multiple Java frameworks. ***PREFER SPRING AND HIBERNATE*** They have many at Time/Synapse depending on how old the apps are - Need past experience with Jave web service development, JMS messaging - Moving from Unix server to Linux, may need to tweak/refactor some scripts - Do NOT want someone that needs their hand held. Must be a self starter.
