Reply back with expected hourly rate Interview Mode-Phone/Skype Location: Dimondale, MI Duration: 9+ months Rate: Open Job Description Supports TCoE Management in Test strategy formulation, execution, process improvements, and communication of test strategies to all stakeholders. Analyze business performance, industry trends, existing or new regulatory requirements and their impact on IT operations; make recommendations on alternative courses of action, including risk assessment, capital investment, and acquisitions needed to align IT strategy with agency strategic plan. Requires advanced knowledge of test planning concepts and frameworks, tax issues and concepts, research methodology, general management and financial analysis. Additionally, requires good interaction skills with senior client management, with ability to articulate and defend recommendations made. Daily duties include: . Develop and maintain an expert level understanding of agency systems, dependencies, organizational goals and technology platforms . Create and Develop Test Data strategies that ensure data used for testing is complete, acceptable and secured and review with stakeholders and executive staff for approval. . Review and Approve Test Data Management plans to ensure data used is following the Test Data Strategy guidelines for acceptable use and . Collaborate with environment management team to develop and communicate test environment needs. Ensure the on time and quality delivery of test environments. . Review and approve test plans to ensure objectives are achievable and realistic and validate that all requirements are covered and quality standards and guidelines are being met. . Participate in requirement gathering, JADs, functional blue printing and technical design sessions, as needed. . Maintain expert level understanding of test methodologies (agile, Scrum, waterfall, V-model) and mentor, train and coach testing resources in the appropriate test artifact creation. . Assist the Automated Test Lead in conducting Proof of Concept evaluation efforts and identifying and creating plans for automation of eligible work streams. . Maintain all testing ALM tools and workflows . Drive lessons learned and retrospective activities . Conduct audits on testing artifacts, plans, processes, procedures and methods to ensure activities within the TCOE are aligned with the TCOE Test Strategy. . Maintain knowledge of emerging industry trends in respect to Quality & Test processes, paradigms, best practices, tools and techniques. Pro-actively analyze current processes and practices to drive improvement and efficiency initiatives to support the TCOE organization's maturity goals . Serve as a Quality Control resource, evaluator, and Specialist (often working closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure the proper activities are being executed and the correct resources are participating, quality control and process improvement activities (i.e. structured walkthroughs, stage exits, lessons learned) throughout the project lifecycle. . Perform other business or testing related support activities, as needed.
