Duration of project – 6 months Requirements: · Minimum of two years of experience with Veritas NetBackup and Veritas Cluster Manager (Infoscale). Must be able to implement, manage, and support Veritas NetBackup 7.* and Veritas Cluster Manger 6.0.1 solutions o Installation of NetBackup Master and Media servers and Bare Metal Restore Boot Servers o Implementation of NetBackup in a Clustered Environment using VCS/Infoscale o Designing, configuring, and implementing the policy for taking the back-up of clients (including Synthetic Backups) o Strong knowledge of and experience with NetBackup Bare Metal Restore o Monitoring the tasks using activity monitor in GUI (Java Interface) o Creating and deleting storage units and volume pools o Configuring robots and drives o Troubleshooting the errors using all log reports · Must demonstrate a complete understanding of Operating System administration concepts, practices, and standards including but not limited to Operating System installation, configuration and management, performance tuning and measurement, back-up, recovery, TCP/IP and related internet protocols and network concepts (including DHCP setup and configuration), security/firewalls, web servers, and load balancing, Volume Management (LVM and VxVM), RAID configuration and integration of external storage (whether FC arrays or JBOD SCSI arrays), file system concepts (NFS, automounter, inodes) , Network booting clients, virtual machine configuration o Strong UNIX (Solaris10) / LINUX (Redhat 6.*) background required (5+ years of experience desirable) o Strong Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 background · Experience with UNIX/LINUX Shell Scripting (ksh, awk/nawk, perl) a plus · Experience writing System Test Plans and Installation and Operational documentation -- Thanks & Best Regards, *Manu Singh* Senior Technical Recruiter *Resource Logistics Inc.* 505 Thornall Street, Edison, NJ 08837 Phone: (732) 553-0566 Ext 43 Fax: (732) 553-0568 E-Mail: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
