*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job title: VMWare Admin Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 36 Months Direct Client Position Client: NYC HRA Job#4 Note: Need 2 references *Must have experience with VCloud, Powershell, and VC Ops* • Develop System Design Specifications • Develop and prepare documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and integrity requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches • Develop specifications for, communication systems, network, security, storage and hardware / software configurations • Develop, compile, maintain and documents configurations of the following: servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, utilities, and communication systems • Develop System Documentation • Develop operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software • Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of Private Cloud, HP hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security and client server systems • Develop, design, and architect detailed systems operations designs • Perform Optimization/Tuning /Resource Analysis and Reporting • Measures the performance of the system before modifications, keeps track of historical data and correlates system requirements with any program added or removed • Identify and remove bottlenecks in order to improve performance • Measure the performance of the system after modification • Perform System Design/Scripting/Coding • Works with MIS Staff (e.g. managers, senior programmers, support staff) to plan program code implementation, enhancements and changes • Create, test and maintain program codes, maintain different level of snapshots on virtualized platforms • Design reports, audit trails/logs and security mechanisms • Perform Testing/Evaluation • Test programs and systems, integrates systems modules • Develop, implements, and monitors IT quality assurance standards • Write scripts to automate VMware and Windows tasks Required Skills • Minimum 8 Years Solid understanding of: distributed virtual switches, computing environments, routing, client/server programming, and the design of consistent network wide file systems • Minimum 8 Years Solid, In-depth understanding of: system analysis, system optimization, shared resources and system tuning • Minimum 8 Years Strong conceptual understanding of Shared Hosted environments in Windows platform • Minimum 8 Years Solid hands-on experience with Storage Area Network and LUN zoning • Minimum 4 Years Solid hands-on experience with Service Catalog and Service-based platform architecture • Minimum 4 Years Solid hands-on experience with VMware vCloud Director • Minimum 4 Years Solid hands-on experience with PowerShell and WMI scripting • Minimum 4 Years Solid hands-on experience with VMware vCenter Operations Management Suite • Minimum 4 Years Ability to work with different tools for capacity planning, stress testing and generating reports • Minimum 4 Years Ability to communicate effectively, on both a technical and non-technical level, with appropriate Agency staff at all levels, as well as with vendors • Minimum 4 Years Ability to automate day-to-day repetitive tasks with administrative script writing *Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * *Thanks, Sam CNC Consulting, Inc. 201-546-3096 s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
