The project list for 2010 contains several exciting major builds to migrate more flows onto the strategic platform, to expand coverage into new asset classes, and to integrate with next-generation client connectivity networks* * * *SKILL / EXPERIENCE* * * *MANDATORY* *• A strong and proven track record of capacity and performance analysis and problem solving skills in a high-throughput transactional system.* *• IT industry experience, involving some hands-on core Java development.* *• Familiarity with UNIX or UNIX-like operating systems.* *• Strong verbal and written communication skills given the global nature of the team* *• Self starter who is highly motivated to excel and take on growing responsibilities* * * *PREFERRED* *• Relevant experience in the financial industry is preferred, but not essential* *• Understanding of advanced core Java topics – multi-threading, RMI, garbage collection, performance optimizations, etc.* *• Database skills – SQL, understanding of query optimisation, etc.* *• Exposure to UNIX and Perl scripting * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
