Job Description
The selected candidate will perform complex analytical, design, development
and technical documentation tasks in support of the program. This resource
will be utilized on the Driver 360 project. This position is primarily
responsible for the design, analysis and facilitation tasks required in the
development and maintenance of the application architecture. The main tasks of
this position include but are not limited to the following:
· Analyze, define, and document requirements for data and business
processes
· Design, document, and coordinate desired changes to legacy modules
· Document the program and project deliverables as assigned
· Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other
programs and projects
· Provide quality control for project deliverables
Expected Skills:
Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to
manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have
extensive industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
· Development and enhancement of applications based on established
design specifications
· Analysis, design, coding, component/assembly testing of all
application code owned by the Application Team
· Implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet
both functional and technical requirements
· Writing application software, data analysis, data access, data
structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and
implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions,
maintenance (including production support)
· Unit testing applications and developing system and user documentation
Skills Needed
Proven experience in software development and maintenance of IT applications
Required 7 Years
Proven business analysis and design experience Required 7 Years
Ability to resolve highly complex problems Required 5 Years
Minimum of 5 years experience of COBOL, DB2, CICS/CTG/CTS programming
experience with Required 5 Years
Experience with MVS/JCL, TSO and SSL development and maintenance, Required
5 Years
Proven experience with financial processes analysis and modification
Required 3 Years
Experience working with large project teams Required 3 Years
Experience with State or county government Highly desired
