I am looking for a tech lead who has experience in leading MVS - JCL/COBOL projects as well as Ab Initio projects. I would request pre-screened candidates with proven track record in development project delivery in MVS and ETL space.). Location: Richmond, VA Contract Length 6 months Pay $DOE Tech lead - Responsible for detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Provides team or technical supervision and drives project/service delivery. Performs as technical lead on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components. Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, mentors junior developers, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or some other technical area which provides analysis and programming experience • Experienced in Mainframe Cobol and JCL (2-3 years) • Experienced in Abinitio ETL development (3-4 years) • ETL or Mainframe experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) • 1 Year experience in Senior Developer on IT Projects Data mapping experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL and MVS mainframe projects *Knowledgeable of Capital One processes and procedures (preferred)* Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members) Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
