Looking for someone who has the potential to be a technical lead for projects working with a small team of 2-3 developers. Responsibilities: Involved in Requirements gathering working with the Business Analyst and Customer. Analyze the requirements & wireframes and come up with the overall Design and Technical tasks. Working with Project Manager, provide estimates for the tasks and assign them to other developers. Provide direction and leadership for web related project assignments. Ability to work on an Agile development environment. Testing, migration, deployment and maintenance of the web applications. EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Years of experience required for this job: Six to eight years job related experience Citizenship Status: Must be a U.S Citizen SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Specialized skills required for this job: This job requires advanced knowledge and skills in configuration and deployment of web applications including database design, web based scripting languages and web standards. Java (JDK 1.6 or higher), J2EE JSP, JSP EL and JSTL JDBC Relational Databases (prefer Oracle) and SQL. Spring 3.x, 4.x Spring Core (dependency injection) Spring MVC – annotation based controllers HTML and HTTP protocol. JavaScript and JQuery AJAX and JSON Object Oriented Design, Analysis and Programming. Agile Development Methodologies (knowledge of JIRA is preferred) Web application server (prefer Tomcat). Windows and UNIX OS (from a user point of view). Use of source control system like Subversion and working in a team development environment Writing design documents, and technical documentations. Build tools (Maven) Integrated Development Environment (prefer Eclipse or NetBeans). Use of open source products/tools Highly motivated and able to work in a small team environment. Must be able to work independently. The following skills are a Plus but not required: UI Frameworks – AngularJS KendoUI (Jquery based library) ORM tools - JPA 2.x OR Hibernate OR ActiveJDBC Bootstrap (CSS Framework) Specialized skills preferred: Systems and job environment will house specific software applications and operating systems that are associated with additional specific skills that are preferred.
