6 month contract assignment Location; Buffalo, NY Participate or provide oversight in gathering requirements, developing test plans & strategies, & developing and / or reviewing test scripts w/ test team. Assign test engineers to project activities. Work closely w/ developers, understanding code coverage. Provide project test status & progress reports to IT Lead, & work w/ development configuration management. Manages QA Test teams on a project basis. Act as test lead on enterprise strategic projects & major business projects & other test related activities as required. Promote collaborative application life cycle development & adherence to Technology and Corporate Standards, Project Management Methodology (PMM), Systems Development Methodology (SDM), & Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Oversee obtaining & scheduling appropriate on/offshore test resources. Perform project test team reporting & administrative duties. Evaluate & provide recommendations for test tools & quality assurance test process improvements. Participate in developing strategic departmental test services processes. Create test metric reports & manage defects. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or four to five years relevant experience in computer science or testing services. Minimum five years experience in testing & project management.
