My name is Bharat Kumar Aditya and I am a Recruiter at Systel Inc Our client is interested in hiring *Systems Engineer* .The location of this position is *Boston MA* United States and it is a Contract opportunity. *Please find below the job description: * Surgical robotics program with large mechanical and software, front end is testing definition, backend is testing, Strong EE with some ME, working with sub-system engineers on integration and design challenges, wiring & architecture diagrams, can call it a chief engineer position, implement requirements on 7 sub-systems, backfill of a permanent employee The Lead System Engineer is a technical leader within the R&D engineering team that is developing Medtronic’s Robotic Assisted Surgical Device (RASD). This individual collaborates with the System Architects, Subsystem Engineers, Integration Engineers, Reliability Engineers and Service Engineers to ensure the system design meets system and subsystem requirements. This technical lead will contribute to the design input definition, design output evaluation and issue resolution of mechanical, electrical and firmware designs for a complex system that includes aspects of robotics, controls, imaging, multi-user interfaces and minimally invasive surgical instrumentation *Design Input Definition * • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the System and Subsystem product requirements • Decomposes and allocates high-level functional requirements into engineering variables needed for subsystem design input • Provides input to requirements changes based on performance evaluation and design change • Primary contributor to system-level integration and service requirements • Coordinates and contributes to the creation of system-level engineering design documentation (block diagrams, wiring diagrams, power budget, etc) *Design Output Evaluation * • Maintains working knowledge of the system design and performance against the requirements • Coordinates system-level capability testing for understanding the performance limits of the design. • Coordinates system-level integration testing. • Reviews system-level verification test methods and provides technical input to the verification testing team. *Issue Resolution * • Drives and coordinates resolution of technical issues with System Architects and Subsystem Engineers through analysis and system evaluation against requirements • Works with the Integration Team and Subsystem Engineers for trouble shooting/root-cause analysis and corrective action to resolve anomalies • Provides written disposition and evidence to resolve anomalies *Education required/ preferred*: A minimum of BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering, graduate level preferred. *Work Experience*: • Minimum of 10 years of experience product development • Minimum of 5 years of medical device development experience and/or at least 1 medical device developed thru production. • Prior experience in system-level, requirements based development of a complex electro-mechanical system • Experience working with multiple teams on concurrent projects *Skills/Competencies*: • Knowledge of relevant technologies including: o Mechatronics / Robotics o Mechanical and electrical interfaces o Communication protocols o Sensors, actuators, controllers o Kinematics of mechanisms o Vision and display systems • Solid understanding of structured product development (requirements-driven engineering, documentation, rigorous verification, etc.)Engineering verification test development and execution • Knowledge of relevant standards medical devices (60601, 62304, 14971, etc) • Organizational capabilities and skills for managing priorities during a complex engineering project • Excellent communication skills • Understanding and experience with system reliability testing and service. • Working experience in full-lifecycle engineering programs and processes *Preferred Experience*: • Redundant and safety-critical systems • Knowledge of surgery/minimally invasive surgery • Well-versed in medical product R&D and clinical/regulatory process *BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering, graduate level preferred* *Bharat Kumar Aditya * *Jr. Resourcing Specialist * *E: bhar...@systelinc.com <bhar...@systelinc.com> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
