Skills and Qualifications 8 or more years of Business Objects or Data Access tool experience -BO upgrade to 4.X a plus Identify, track and convert scheduled reports - Deski to Webi report conversion 2+ years of experience with Teradata Data Warehouse Architecture Knowledge of data warehousing, data governance processes, data quality processes, testing methodologies, reporting tools, application development Multi-platform and multi-system integration experience. Demonstrated record of success with problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience with mainframe z/OS (JCL, COBOL, etc) and DB2 is highly desired. Working knowledge of Information Management, Business Intelligence, Health Care Analytics a plus. Experience migrating DB2 mainframe database/data to Teradata database a plus. Ability to analyze business cases, extract requirements and understand business needs Description Public Trust not required to be selected for position, but must be able to obtain a public trust designation Expert/Specialist level BO developer will work as part of the team that migrates the Health Net Federal Service (HNFS) Information Warehouse (IW) data structures from the mainframe to a Teradata V15.10 database. The following HNFS Information Warehouse components will be installed, configured, and maintained in third-party IT vendor data center: Informatica PowerCenter V10 Extract Transform Load (ETL) tool Business Objects XI 4.x Data Access Reporting tool Dundas Dashboard Dashboard tool SAS 9.4 (Office analytics, Access Interface to Teradata) Teradata database V 15.10 Microsoft SQL Server database The BO developer should have extensive experience supporting analysis/design and development in similar environments. Typical Duties: Develop business object reports in accordance to clients needs and requirements. Works collaboratively with clients and stakeholders - both external and internal to HPE team to research and elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements clearly reflect true business needs, correctly representing all stakeholders. Facilitate design and develop processes utilizing best standards. Work with business teams to understand and fill in gaps in the data, and/or to adjust source-system data structures to facilitate analysis and integration with other company data. Develop solutions in accordance to client specifications. Communicate project status to team members. Resolve complex issues arising in projects execution.
