Job Description
Client is seeking one contractor to automate reporting within the Finance and
Budget Department (F&B). The project is to automate F&B’s daily, weekly and
monthly processing and reporting to replace the manual system including
multitude of paper documents and spreadsheets created and used. F&B is adding
a new phase to their accounting system and highly prefer contractor that has
good knowledge of the prior phase of their system. The key business SME on the
prior phase of reporting in F&B is due to retire shortly and so there is a
heavy reliance on the technical and business knowledge of the individual with
respect to the prior phase. In order to prevent an audit finding due to their
manual operations this phase is critical to the F&B department.
Required Skills:
· Over 7yrs of lead .NET application design and development experience.
· Over 2yrs experience with Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5+, VS 2013, C#,
ASP.Net, AJAX, MVC, NuGet, Web API, Web Services, JavaScript, Kendo UI and
LINQ.
· Over 2yrs of experience with ORMs like Entity Framework or similar.
· Very good business knowledge of the DES F&B department functions.
Over 6+ months of active involvement.
· Subject matter expertise of the current phase of the F&B accounting
system. Over 6+ months extensively working with the system.
· Over 5yrs experience in developing SQL database schemas and
programming.
Responsibilities include:
· Create detailed requirements in working with the users for the new
phase. Provide the business knowledge from the requirements, design and testing
of the prior phases.
· Design and develop LDAP based access for the system.
· Design and develop front end, middleware and backend modules for the
new phase.
· Analysis of the current phase with respect to the requirements and
design of the new phase and appropriately developing upgrade of the current
phase .
· Develop schema and programming for F&B SQL database.
· Develop administration web console for DES staff for security related
customer service functions.
· Design and develop other DES .NET systems as needed.
Skills Needed
Experience as lead .NET application design and development Required

Current Experience with MS .NET Framework 4.5+, VS 2013, C#, ASP.Net, AJAX,
MVC, nugget, Web API, Web Services, JavaScript, Kendo UI and LINQ
