Primary Accountabilities include:- · Create, support, modify, and maintain moderately complex systems and programs and project documentation; · Perform complicated business analysis, systems design systems administration tasks, and/or programming; Frequent interaction with outside organizations; Represent work group to resolve system and project technical issues; Work as member of project teams to provide expertise on customer systems and processes; Provide occasional functional and technical guidance to junior team members and peers. · Specific responsibilities include the day to day monitoring and triaging of global production Business Intelligence activities, resolving or coordinating the resolutions of any problems among peer groups, and the deploying of Business Intelligence components. · Position will require in depth knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 as well as working knowledge of other Business Intelligence technologies such as MS SQL Server Integration Service, various Cognos BI components, Essbase and Showcase. · Along with general IT operational technologies such as Control-M job scheduler and general Windows server management. · Minimum Education Requirements:- o Associate's degree with emphasis on computer science or information technology OR Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, or equivalent technical field · Minimum Experience Requirements:- o Associate's degree with emphasis on computer science or information technology with 6 years internal experience, or 7 to 8 years external experience and direct applicability to position accountabilities OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or an information technology field of study with 4 to 5 years in an information technology related position Requirement Details: Job Title : Sr. BI Information Specialist Job Type (Contract) : 6 months Location : Forth Worth, TX Sr. BI Information Specialist Business Analyst Candidates within or near TX only!!! Corp-to-Corp rate: $45/hour · Primary contact for moderately complex technical issues; demonstrated development as internal consultant is required to progress. Individuals in this position advise others on the completion of complex systems analysis, programming, or systems administration tasks, lead moderately complex projects, serve as technical lead in a work group or on project teams, work under severe deadlines and workload, and given general objectives, determine and complete tasks with a high degree of independence. Primary Accountabilities include: · Primary technical contact assisting with the creation, support, and maintenance of moderately complex systems; Internal consultant on intricate analysis and systems administration tasks; lead technically involved projects; · Work under extreme task loads with full understanding of client business organization, practices, and requirements; · Given general objectives, determine tasks and work with a high degree of independence; act to prevent errors; · Represent organization; serve as primary organizational contact on technically difficult projects; · Work directly with senior management to solve complex technical problems related to specific business issues; · Promote work group development; guide and assist to improve understanding of business and technical processes. · Specific responsibilities will include managing and maintaining the processes for the deployment and support of Business Intelligence solutions for affiliates.
