*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 9 Months Direct Client Position *Client: State of IA Job##490028* *In person interview* *Rate: $35-40/hr on C2C* These functions are performed in the agency’s enterprise data center environment, which hosts hundreds of servers and business applications, and supports functions and business-critical services for agency as well as the regional offices. The Network Analyst (NA) reviews, plans, and evaluates network systems. May troubleshoot network systems and recommend improvements to network. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. Responsibilities include: Operational support for proxy, load balancing and Internet filtering services for additional security, performance, capacity and availability of hosted services. Recommend security enhancements to management or senior IT staff Configure and maintain secure network infrastructure in conformance with security standards and best practices. Manage networks and assigned systems to prevent unauthorized access while insuring efficient transmission. Perform log management and monitoring.
