Title : Senior Developer (Web Developer) Location : Washington, DC Duration : 3-6 Month Contract. Details: Minimum of five years professional experience working in the information technology industry, including 2+ years experience performing hands-on web application development and support; 2+ years experience implementing and/or supporting web applications using JavaScript and CSS; Java proficiency is a plus; Experience using JavaScript frameworks, JQuery desired; Experience in scripting language, PHP preferred; Expertise applying technologies and tools used in web development, including IDE’s, application servers, WebLogic and Apache are preferred, relational databases, MySQL and Oracle preferred, CMS applications (Drupal preferred), and operating systems (Linux desired) Experience developing and testing applications supported across all standard browsers; Experience with Agile development methodologies, SCRUM desired; Strong analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills; Ability to effectively communicate with client and glean business requirements; Understanding of full lifecycle development for systems and software; Previous involvement in establishing, communicating, and applying development standards, effectively communicating methodologies, and guiding others in their application.
