*Need Websphere Admin with Linux Admin exp.....* *Candidate MUST be LOCAL to NYC/NJ* *12 months* * * Mandatory MUST have Exp: * Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of installing, administering and maintaining SuSe or RedHat Linux servers. * Five years experience in a Web based environment, IBM Websphere * Install and administer various server applications such as application servers (WAS), portal (IBM Portal) and ID Management (TIM) * Experience in deploying web based application in a clustering environment * Experience with installing open source software on Linux systems, such as apache, heartbeat. * Experience in monitoring the performance of the server based hardware and software. Ability to generate reports and troubleshoot system performance * Create and follow through on change control for any modifications to the agency*s software or hardware infrastructure * Familiarity with HP servers. Ability to install Linux OS and updating all the firmware needed to bring the server up to spec.
