Required Test Management Skills and Experiences * The following test management skills and experiences are required for the successful candidate for this position: • Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test reports for systems development efforts of similar size and complexity, using comparable technologies and development tools and languages. • Demonstrated experience managing testing efforts, including supervision of personnel executing test scripts. • Demonstrated experience validating test outcomes and reporting test progress and statistics. • Demonstrated experience managing regression testing during acceptance testing. *B. Min Qualifications: * • BA/BS in Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems with coursework specific to systems test methods and standards; or 4 years of equivalent progressively responsible work experience with emphasis on test methods, planning, execution, and problem resolution. • Experience with testing and test management factors related to the following: Ø Security for databases containing personal information and accessible on the Internet. Ø Availability, backup, recovery, and data integrity for 24/7 systems. Ø Performance of very large databases and high volume online systems. Ø Validating test outcomes and reporting test progress and statistics. Ø Testing Web applications and Windows applications. Ø Data and network security, and data management/data integrity for confidential and sensitive data. Ø Relational databases (e.g., SQL server). • Experience with large scale government IT projects, especially those involving counties, local agencies or locally sited field operations. • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft .NET application development and testing. Experience applying IEEE standards to software development lifecycle products.
