This will be a long-term engagement providing high-level recommendations for the organization. *Cognos TM1 Consultant* *Responsibilities Overview* Identify the work effort(s) needed to perform and support a system review of the current Physician Services TM1 budgeting environment and cube/data/security structure. *Work Effort 1 – TM1 Health Check* The vendor is expected to perform at a minimum the following reviews: - Perform System Architecture Review – are the servers we are using optimal for our TM1 Environment, do we have enough CPU, enough memory to support the current setup. - Perform TM1 Configuration Review – are we using the optimal configuration for our TM1 Server instances? - Perform Model Design Review – Can changes be made to our TM1 model that will allow it to run more efficiently? - Perform Feeder and Rule Review – Are the rules defined correctly and efficiently? Are the feeders optimally setup? - Perform BI Integration Review – Is our instance of TM1 optimally setup to integrate with our BI platforms? Are we using the proper DQM? Can our reporting cubes be better designed to support ad-hoc and/or standard reporting/analysis? - Master Data Management Review – how is our TM1 instance handling master data? Detail data? Aggregate data? Can we make changes to our hierarchy schemas to better suit our reporting model? - Report Design Review – is the current report portfolio designed properly to produce accurate and timely reporting? - Security Model Review – is our TM1 Security Model set up optimally to handle TM1 security. Also, is the folder structure currently being used for reporting the proper approach? *Work Effort 2 – TM1 Recommendations* - Provide recommendations for each of the items listed in Work Effort 1; including any items the vendor found necessary to add in order to complete the TM1 health check. - Provide details for testing, deploying and approving the recommendations. - Provide a current state versus future state recommendation chart/diagram.
