we are looking for a Tibco Administrator with experience with *Administrating Tibco with great experience with scripting (Korn, Bash and Perl) * This is an immediate need and with our largest client in Milwaukee. The manager is looking for SR level candidates and is willing to do a phone interview to hire. 6 month contract Bill rate: $DOE Location:Milwaukee, WI MQ and TIBCO administration development needs for numerous projects. Demand for messaging administration is typically small and frequent. The messaging administration needs are currently being provided by infrastructure service delivery as no development resource exists. *Job Responsibilities:* * * - Tibco ESB: Installs new Tibco servers for Admin, BW, EMS, and Adapter, and using the Tibco Admin tool deploys applications, configures queues, user authority, etc. - Provides support for system integration testing, capacity planning, and application performance tuning by utilizing built-in, OS monitoring tools as well as QPasa messaging monitoring tool. - Design, create and support enterprise monitoring techniques and processes for new and existing middleware architectures. - QPasa: Register new MQ queue managers, queues and other objects and for new Tibco EMS queues for monitoring. Setup alerts for notification of problems. Develop application dashboards which display all pertinent messaging metrics for the application. - Hawk: Define Hawk rules for handling error conditions in Tibco. - Assist Messaging Service Delivery team in software package evaluations related to messaging software and tools, ensuring that they fit within Kohl’s architecture and infrastructure. - Help identify the impact of proposed changes at a system level and on interfacing systems; translates application development requirements into architectural requirements. - With Messaging Service Delivery team helps to define standards related to core infrastructure areas, assists teams in designing infrastructure solutions for messaging services, and defines small-scale infrastructure decisions. - Ensures and maintains clear and concise system and functional documentation, and supporting documentation that will be turned over to the Messaging System Delivery team. - Reports on assigned projects’ status to business partners and IS management - Provides feedback to team members and to project lead regarding individual performance of assigned team members. - With Messaging Service Delivery team works with outside vendors to ensure smooth development and installation of purchased software to ensure resolution of outstanding issues. - With Message Service Delivery team provides training or mentoring to team members as well as large groups on tools, processes and standards as required. * * *Preferred Qualifications*: - Strong admin skills in WebSphere MQ and Tibco ESB - Experience working with MQ monitoring tools such as QPasa - Experience working with Tibco Hawk monitoring tool a plus - Scripting skills in Korn/Bash Shell, and Perl - In-depth understanding of UNIX and Windows - Understanding of configuration management - Displays willingness to accept responsibility, displays initiative, good judgment and a positive attitude - Ability to communicate effectively with peers, development staff, and management - Demonstrated ability to act decisively and promptly - Regular attendance is key to performing the job - After hours support required.
