Woodland Hills, CA This request is to procure a Senior Siebel Project Manager/Developer Lead as a contract to hire, who will be responsible for working with business analysts, system integrators and other developers to implement and maintain Siebel CRM solutions as well as other legacy CRM applications in support of the OnePoint program. This position will play a pivotal role in the initial deployment of Siebel CRM applications with an initial focus on providing Siebel expertise to enhance and streamline current processes and data integration activities replacing or integrating with legacy applications. Additional phases will include other functional areas such as sales and marketing, maintenance and support, and additional deployment phases for other divisions. Specific duties will include but not be limited to the following: - Strong contributor to overall design of the Siebel application - Participating in requirements gathering sessions - Developing conceptual and detail design to shape solutions - Adhering to best practices for standards for design, coding, and security - Partner with System Integrators in evaluating business requirements against the Siebel CRM out-of-the-box capabilities and look for opportunities to adapt the business needs to existing functionality - Understanding the trade-offs necessary and the technical impact - Effectively communicating design decisions and solutions to business teams and IT Management - Delegating specific design and/or development duties to team members - Verifying design and development performed by team members and make sure they adhere to Siebel development standards and keeps implementation on upgrade path. - Owning and maintaining technical specification documentation. - Performing gap analysis and working with Project manager to create detail project plan - Developing and testing Siebel solutions (configuration, scripting, data conversions and/or integrations) to address business requirements - Participating in System, Integration, Validation and User Acceptance test cycles - Troubleshooting and resolving issues found during test cycles and own issue list and provide accurate status to IT management. - Working with the Program Directors and Managers to stay on schedule and in scope, raise and helping resolve issues and risks, and accurately represent project status - Working with Application Development and Delivery Manager to help plan and execute deployment activities in a matrix organization. - Supporting, training and coaching team members in Siebel application to build their skills - Performing performance tuning on production Siebel application as required - Maintaining and Supporting production Siebel application and working with Siebel support to resolve open issues - Working with DBA to resolve database related issues. - Ensuring compliance with application release management, outage management and change control processes and standards. Other Requirements: - BA/BS degree or technical institute training, 10+ years experience with multiple platforms, relational database management systems, programming languages, multi-tiered client server applications or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Experience writing SQL, PL/SQL and SQL Loader. - Experience with EIM, EAI, Integration Objects, EBC, VBC, Business Services and Web Services. - Experience with core technology areas such as Windows/Unix shell scripting, operating systems, and network administration etc. - Experience with ETL tools and Siebel OLTP and OBIEE OLAP integration. - Experience with installation and administration of Siebel servers. - Experience in estimating level of effort and complexity of requirements. - Experience with hands-on custom software development, code reviews and technical design. . Desirable Skills Include: - Experience with configuring Siebel Tools, eScript, Workflow and Assignment Manager. - Experience working in HIPAA and SOX regulated environment. - Experience with Siebel Analytics and or OBIEE and operational reporting tools such Business Objects and Crystal Reports. Experience with BIP a plus. - Strong background utilizing middleware technologies such as MQ Series or Web Sphere. - Experience with testing, performance tuning tools and reports to validate data throughout all phases of the integration test cycle.
