Java Integration Architect/Developer Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6+ months
Responsibilities: - Design and implement a java-based application integration solution using Mule ESB and Java. Create necessary models, services and custom components as required. - Design the integration deployment strategy including software components and recommend physical hardware specifications. - Participate in requirement gathering sessions, create detailed design documentation. - Develop architecturally significant portions of the solution using Mule, Java and related technologies. - Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders, solution vendors, business analysts and technical resources. Required Skills & Experience: - Experience designing and implementing solutions using Mule ESB. - Extensive experience designing and developing Java and J2EE software. Experience deploying code in Weblogic and/or JBoss J2EE containers. - Experience designing and implementing automated unit tests - Understanding of internet technologies such as xml, http, soap, web services and RESTful design. - Understanding of internet security concerns and techniques such as SSL, firewalls and certificates. - Able to provide technical leadership and mentoring to less experienced developers. - Experience with the Subversion source control system and Ant build scripts Desirable Skills & Experience: - Experience designing Java-based integration solutions, particularly using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and/or an Enterprise Service Bus. Experience with open source projects such as ServiceMix, OpenESB or JBoss ESB. - Experience with TOA Technologies’ ETADirect Work Force Management (WFM) product. Experience with other WFM products also desirable. - Experience with Comverse’s Kenan FX product.
