*ROLE:* Sr. SAP Basis Administrator
*LOCATION:* Dallas, TX
*DURATION:* 4 months
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Plan, support, and implement activities such as SAP System Installations,
System Migrations, Client Copies, Support Packages, Kernel upgrades, and SAP
System upgrades.
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation for Basis activities.
* Creating and maintaining System maintenance and build work plans
* Maintain SAP and OS configuration consistency across multiple SAP Systems.
* Implement and maintain Interfaces from SAP environments to external
systems and 3rd Party Applications.
* Research opportunities for Basis process efficiencies.
* Configure, support and implement SAP Transports Management System.
* Identify and resolve SAP performance issues, including working with the
application team.
* Resolve and analyze SAP problems and document and implement solutions or
work around
* Provide 24x7 on-call support as scheduled and off hour problem resolution
for all SAP environments as needed.
* Assist the DBA team as required
*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
* 5+ years of experience with SAP architecture, Basis administration and
support
* 4+ ECC 6.0, 2+ years SAP NetWeaver 7.0 , 2+ years if BI 7.0
* Strong knowledge of AIX Unix 3+ years
* 2+ years DB2 (UDB or OS390)
* Experience with 4+ go-lives
* Excellent written and oral communications
* Must work well within a team environment
PREFERRED SKILLS:
DB2 Z/OS experience
