** Location: Red wood, CA Job Description: *Senior Software Engineer - Custom Product Development Position Summary * As a senior software engineer you will be responsible for developing sophisticated tools/applications. You will work closely with project managers, senior software engineers, and operations engineers to design and deploy tools/applications. Requirements . 5+ years of programming experience in Java/J2EE programming . Significant development experience in Java, JSP, Struts, DAOs, Web Services, XML and XSLT . Strong Designing experience with tools such as Rational Rose, UML or similar tools. . Experience working on front-end technologies such as Ajax, YUI, JavaScript and HTML. . Working knowledge of software architectures, such as MVC, Client-Server or N-Tier. . Strong PL SQL skills including ability to write efficient queries and Stored Procedures. . Experience working on frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. . Experience analyzing customer needs, designing new systems and modifying existing systems . Experience in a position requiring the ability to identify and solve problems . Experience in a position requiring the ability to organize and prioritize tasks . Strong OOP concepts . Proficiency on UNIX (Solaris, Linux) and NT platforms . Experience working on application servers such as JBoss and Web Sphere . Excellent analytical and problem solving skills . Strong sense of ownership . Ability to use design patterns . Ability to multi-task and function efficiently with very aggressive schedules/timelines. Qualification .
