*Seeking for Sr. Database Engineer* *New York, NY – 10036 – local Candidates within 40miles* *Start: ASAP – Sept 21* *Professional requirements:* § Minimum of 5 years development experience using SQL Server 2000 and 2005. § Experience must include architecture and design responsibilities § Experience with data replication technologies such as log shipping & database mirroring is required § Experience with high availability solutions such as failover clustering § In depth knowledge of T-SQL is required, including processing of xml data in sql. § Experience with SQL Server 2008 preferred § Understanding of database architecture, design, development and administration on Microsoft SQL Server / Windows platform. § Hands on experience with designing scalability database solutions and performance improvements § Experienced in Data Modeling, logical and physical database design, performance tuning of existing database applications and design of Backup and Recovery procedures. § Has developed DTS packages and scheduled database tasks. § Good understanding of Windows Server 2003.
