We are in need of a *Technical Writer* for an opportunity in *Pittsburgh, PA*. *Location: *Pittsburgh *Duration: *8 months *Rate: *Up to $40/hr *Project Details:* This position is responsible for the development of detailed procedures manuals for various HR administrative processes to support the HR//direct (Pittsburgh) BEAM project, a global quality management program. The incumbent will: Develop/Implement a standard format for HR//direct (Pittsburgh) procedure manuals; Utilize existing process maps, SAP working instructions, and employee interviews to develop the content of the procedures; Work closely with the Internal Controls team to ensure business and compliance controls are represented; Provide regular updates on progress and walkthroughs of completed procedures with the teams; Ensure final materials meet internal Quality Management standards and Quality Management project deliverables are met. *Required Qualifications:* - Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in a corporate environment; - Previous experience developing detailed procedure manuals; - Ability to work independently; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail; Project management experience *Preferred Qualifications:* Project and/or quality management experience; Knowledge of Human Resource processes; Prior experience leading a procedure documentation project.
