*We are looking to fill a 12 month contract for a Data Warehouse Analyst in the Portland, OR area. Please see the information below and forward any candidates that may fit the description.* *Details:* *- Location: Portland, OR* *- Bill Rate: Open, * *- ***Candidate must be able to interview face to face on their own expense, as well as relocate at own expense* *- Must have skills: Informatica, SQL Server technologies (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), data modeling, strong analytical skills* *Description:* Work with business partners and the Corporate Reporting department to evaluate their needs for data from an enterprise data warehouse. Work with Data Warehouse architects and developers to design and develop data models, ETL strategies and corporate metadata. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communications skills who has demonstrated successful experience an enterprise data warehouse environment. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*: Understand business processes, data entities, data producers and consumers and the data dependencies between various departments Confer with business and technical partners to understand and evaluate their needs for data from the data warehouse and to plan how it will be structured and accessed Perform data analysis and data profiling. Identify data quality issues Develop data model, ETL and report specifications Document enterprise data repositories and repository relationships. Develop and maintain corporate data dictionary Assess data extraction, report generation, and bugs appearing in operations involving the data warehouse. Architect, design and develop enterprise data warehouse components, including databases and ETL using Informatica Architect, design and develop operational databases required for BI applications Provide production support to solve immediate problems and keep databases in production *GENERAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES*: Ability to communicate well with the business and conduct requirement analysis Strong data analysis skills and experience with metadata management Strong technical writing skills Knowledge of principles, techniques and best practices of enterprise data warehouse Significant experience with data warehouse development, including ETL using Informatica Experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSIS, SSAS & SSRS Customer oriented Highly motivated to develop mortgage business knowledge Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Dedicated to completing assigned tasks and delivering high quality software under deadline Ability to learn and apply new technologies and programming languages as required Strong experience with relational and dimensional modeling Ability to document new or existing processes and data definitions *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields 5 years of professional software development experience 1-3 years of data warehousing experience 1-3 years of business intelligence experience Software development experience in financial services or real estate related industries a plus Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
