*IT Project Manager*
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6 months


Our client is seeking an experience Project Manager to lead and direct a
high-priority project from documentation of original concept to successful
completion and implementation. *Management of this project will require high
levels of interaction and integration across multiple functional groups.
Ability to work within a strong matrix organization will be the key to
success. The Project Manager will be interfacing with all areas affected by
the project and will adhere to quality standards, execute regularly
scheduled tasks to review project risks, timelines and deliverable, and
communicate directly with executives regarding project status. *

*Project Initiation**
**• Document the project mission statement and develop the project charter**
**• Identify and document risks, assumptions, and constraints**
**• Obtain charter approval from all stakeholders**
**• Conduct kick-off meeting**

**Project Planning**
**• Define and document project scope, metrics, and criteria for success**
**• Establish and document project deliverables**
**• Create Work Breakdown Structure, and develop high-level milestone plan**
**• Develop project plan in accordance with project management standards
including project schedule, resource allocation plan, quality management
plan, accountability matrix, communication plan, change management plan, and
risk management plan **

**Project Execution**
**• Work closely with client to manage build-out of infrastructure **
**• Actively execute the project plan, enforce project quality standards,
enforce policies and procedures, and manage the day-to-day operational
aspects of the project. Minimize risk on project. **
**• Manage resource allocation. **
**• Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored
appropriately. Review deliverables prepared by team members before passing
on to client or management. Prepare for reviews and quality assurance
audits. **
**• Manage project communications. Build reporting mechanisms, facilitate
team and client meetings effectively, and hold regular status meetings with
management teams.**
**• Motivate the project team to work together in the most efficient manner.
Address project issues and prioritize components of the project.**

**Project Monitoring**
**• Analyze project variances, monitor and control project work, capture
project status.**
**• Implement the quality management plan. Resolve and/or escalate issues in
a timely fashion. Identify and implement potential corrective action.**
**• Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions
for change. Implement approved actions within defined scope or through
implementation of the change management plan.**
**• Risk monitoring and control. Maintain and update the risk register and
the risk response plan.**
**• Manage the project budget. Track and report project costs on a weekly
basis. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.**
**• Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and
deepen client relationships. Keep track of lessons learned and share those
lessons with team members.**

**Project Closure**
**• Develop a transition plan.**
**• Conduct stakeholder post-review meeting. Communicate lessons learned,
measure customer satisfaction, distribute final project report.**
**• Obtain financial, legal, and administrative closure and close
contractual obligations.**
**• Archive project records and close out the project.***
