Client : Siemens Job Summary As a Systems Architect you will work as part of a highly technical team of professionals who are responsible for the architectural design, development and deployment of cost effective and sustainable technical solutions to meet business requirements. Such solutions will leverage new technologies to drive down costs while providing improved service within the business. Strong organizational skills, technical expertise and attention to detail are key in this customer-focused role. Essential Functions: The Systems Architect works as part of a technical team on projects that support the overall goals of the Technical Enablement and Solutions Organization (TESO), which is dedicated to creating, validating, supporting, and evangelizing solutions based on Client products. This position's responsibility is to: * Translate deployment, operational, and business process automation management requirements and technical challenges to appropriate architectural solutions. * Work across Client engineering, strategic industry partners, and channel partners to develop cohesive infrastructure and service delivery management solutions that effectively address defined use cases but can quickly adapt to satisfy specific customer requirements * Develop solutions to streamline and accelerate field deployment of medical solutions and to simplify ongoing administration and operation for the customer. * Contribute to TESO field delivery management processes for standardizing customer engagement and solution fulfillment * Work within a cross-functional team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of system solutions. * Research, identify, test, and select technology products required for solution delivery in the medical vertical. * Maximize the performance, uptime, and supportability of the defined solution. * Create outbound customer and partner technical documentation and presentations that define the solution. * Evangelize delivered solutions at industry events, customer briefings, and other venues. * Work with Client and partner professional services to define delivery methods and services. * Provide mentorship and training to other associates at the same level or below on processes and tools; and to handle more complex issues/requests. Job Requirements * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Experience with developing customer-facing technical documentation required. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team of other Systems Architects to meet deadlines. * Strong knowledge of the medical industry is required. Specifically: - EMR (Electronic Medical Records) - PACS/Medical Imaging * Life Sciences (clinical trials) * Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry is a plus. * Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines. * Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving issues even in unfamiliar environments. Responsibility: * The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured, requiring new perspectives and creative approaches. * This individual will apply his or her experience and knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address the complex problems that are presented in the course of this challenging position. * Good judgment and sound experience will be essential in evaluating the merits of new ideas and technologies. Interaction: * This individual must work effectively with Staff to CxO level employees within the function, across functions, and with external parties. * This individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently. * The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert. * To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others.
