Location: MN *POSITION #1* Project Saturn - Asia - SAP Writing Lead *Detailed Description of Job Responsibilities (Tasks & Deliverables):* Project Background: SAP is being rolled out to various International countries in Asia including Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. Consistent global functionally will be rolled out unless there are country-specific processes or regulations required. Implementation is schedule for November 1, 2010. This writing lead will work closely with the General Mills Saturn project members on all Supply Chain, Demand Chain and Financial functionality and under the oversight of a General Mills Training and Documentation department project lead. Tasks to be completed by Vendor in rendering services include the following: As directed by General Mills, provide appropriate level of planning to: · Develop or modify business process flowcharts for all SAP functionality (May-July) · Develop or modify a training table of contents for various training classes as determined by the project team (June-August) · Develop or modify training classes based on the table of contents (August-October) · Develop training data to support end user classes (September-October) · Coordinate translation of documents as needed (June-November) · Communicate any perceived training or documentation issues immediately to General Mills project lead As directed by General Mills, provide appropriate level of technical writing to: · Write or update step-by-step (SBS) instructions providing business users instructions on how to complete specific SAP business tasks (June-November) · Oversee the writing of 1-2 additional technical writers, ensuring deadlines are met and standards and guidelines are followed (July-October) * * General Information: · All writing done by the Vendor will follow General Mills specific standards so as to be consistent no matter who the writer is · Workload may require additional hours during core writing months of June-October · At this time no travel is anticipated * * *Mandatory Experience: *Prior Supply Chain, Demand Chain and Finance SAP end user technical writing, training material development and training data population.
