*Duties:* Hardware, O/S, and Application maintenance for SiteMinder
environment:
- SiteMinder v5.5, v6, v12
- Starting / Stopping / SiteMinder Unix processes
- Monitoring SiteMinder environment (e.g. running processes, application
errors, etc)
- Install upgrades / fixes of SiteMinder application
- Participate in design and testing
- Migration of Policy Data
- Perform install of upgrade/fixes
- iPlanet and IIS SiteMinder Agent / Plug-in knowledge
- Business and efficiency driven updates
- Manage move up of updates (i.e. UAT to Production)
- LDAP
- AD user store knowledge
- DB2
- Configuration and maintenance (e.g. patches, upgrades, etc)
- Running query and update commands (e.g. updating attribute values for
Siteminder records)
- Creation of tables, triggers, and stored procedures (DB2)
- Backup & Recovery
- WebSphere Application Server
- Configuration and maintenance (e.g. patches, upgrades, security, etc)
- Install and configure SiteMinder and related applications (i.e. Secure
Proxy Server, Federation)
- Unix environment knowledge
- Hardware / O/S configuration & maintenance (e.g. patches, upgrades,
etc)
- Job scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and error recovery (e.g.
re-running failed jobs)
- Server capacity and health monitoring (e.g. TOPAZ, Tivoli)
- Disc utilization
- High memory utilization
- Security configuration (e.g. Certificates)
- Establish / maintain interfaces with external applications (e.g. SCR,
Aveksa)
- Backup & Recovery
*Skills:*
- Operating Systems (e.g. UNIX, AIX, AD, ACF2, AS400)
- Languages (e.g. XML, PERL, JAVA, SQL, Unix Scripting, Java, Jython)
- TAM/FIM/WebSEAL?
- PING ID
- Oracle Federation
- 5 to 10 years of experience performing Hardware, O/S, and Application
maintenance for technologies related to supporting SiteMinder
- Certification in SiteMinder or related products is a plus
- Experience working in a large corporate environment with strong change
management controls
- Good communication (oral and written) skills
*Education: *Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related
discipline and at least two, typically four or more years experience in all
phases of infrastructure network management or its
equivalent in education and work experience.
