*Rate: DOE* *6 months* *Location: Columbus OH* *Quest Foglight Hands-on Technical position* * * *This position involves working with developers and production support staff to build and implement application monitoring, notifications and dashboards with Quest Foglight.* *The candidate will work with application developers and production support staff across many different business units of Investment Management to configure application monitoring within Quest Foglight. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the gathering of requirements, development and deployment of a comprehensive Quest Foglight monitoring solution. The candidate also will need to leverage knowledge of the tool as well as industry best practices to develop and configure dashboards, agents, services, and rules for various applications.* *Required skills:* *• 3 - 5 years experience using Quest Foglight, including, but not limited to, Foglight Web Console Framework (WCF) development, custom script development, dashboard creation, and rule development.* *• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy , Korn shell, Perl). Groovy is ideal.* *• Great written and verbal communication skills are a must.* *• Desire and ability to learn new skills and help other team members, whenever needed.* *Desired/Optional skills:* *· Experience in application development using multiple technologies.
