Contractor to assist with the development of a web based system to capture
and report Unemployment Insurance Financial data. This assignment will be
completed under the direction and guidance of permanent staff
Responsibilities include:
• Writing and optimizing Stored Procedures and Data Access functions for an
SQL database
• Design and development of new web applications
• Creation of graphical user interfaces and code development that addresses
the business need in an agreed-upon time frame.
• Developing time estimates and identifying project milestones.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:*
*Required:*
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in the design of n-tier applications
with Visual Studio .NET 3.5
• Minimum of (four) 4 years solid experience in web application development
e with n-tier applications using IIS/MTS, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, HTML,
Javascript, SQL and web-services.
• Minimum of (two) 2 years experience with creating PDFs and various
reporting tools.
• Demonstrated experience in development of web applications using n-tier
architecture in a Windows .net environment and in the design of web sites
and the use of GUI tools
• Experience in developing business services objects
• Proven communications, both written and verbal
• Ability to take direction as well as the ability to work independently or
as part of a team on assigned tasks.
