Specializing in Oracle - Has experience of software development and support.
Designs and implements sophisticated products using Expert engineering
technologies in the industry. Responsibilities include coding and debugging
of applications/systems and testing any changes. Provides problem
determination and resolution. Installs and updates newly developed software
to assigned systems.
*Provides 24x7 onsite technical support as needed.*
Unix Skills
- Candidate should be proficient in Vi or other editors
- Candidate should be Proficient in C and Korn Shell scripting
- Candidate should be Proficient in FTP
- Candidate should be Proficient in error and exception handling
- Knowledge of PERL is a plus
*Oracle PL/SQL Skills*
- Candidate should be proficient PL/SQL
- Candidate should be proficient with Oracle 9i and 10g
- Candidate should be proficient in Batch coding techniques
- Candidate should be proficient in ETL coding techniques
- Candidate should have exposure to job scheduling tools, Control-M is a
plus.
- Candidate should be proficient in error and exception handling
*Domain/Industry Knowledge/Soft Skills*
- Exerience in the financial industry around investments is a must
- Knowledge of investments is preferred
- Knowledge of accounting and investment processes for trading and its
associated accounting is a plus
