*RESPONSIBILITIES:***
- Design, develop and maintain Client’s core server side location based
application and service products.
- Create and contribute to system architecture to ensure the robustness,
performance and scalability of the entire system.
- Work with other senior developers to improve existing system, fine tune
system performance, and increase overall data throughput.
- Assist with design and development of database schema and entity
diagrams.
- Interact with customers and clients.
- Translate customer need into real and robust applications.
- Translate product requirement into design specifications and schedules.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Provide technical information relating to application for technical
documentation; author internal documentations.
- Work with other developers to set standards and define best practices
for coding and design.
- Share the knowledge and work experience you’ve gained working in the
industry.
- Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to your function.
- Mentor other Engineers

*QUALIFICATIONS: *
*Required:*
- 4+ years of hands on development experience in a commercial software
server development environment.
- Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including
prototyping, test and product release and sustaining engineering.
- Strong experience in C or C++
- Experience with Oracle or Postgres.
- Strong experience with UNIX operating systems for development and basic
administration. Linux experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of XML, threads and debugging practices.
- Experience with best practices in server application security and
TCP/IP development.
- Desire to engage in challenging assignments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong
collaborative skills.
- Self-managed proactive work style. Able to work well independently and
in a team environment
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Sciences or related field.
* A plus:*
- Experience with Python a plus
- Experience with PL/SQL a plus
- Experience with FreeBSD a plus.
